Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) rising senior  CJ Reavis traveled to Blacksburg on Saturday, taking in the first of two recruiting events the Virginia Tech football program is hosting in a 2-week span.  The 6'2", 200-pound safety prospect says the visit "helped [the Hokies] because I haven't talked to them in a little while.  It feels like home when I go down there.  I get along with the coaches, and I know most of the players."

Reavis estimates he was one of about 10 players at Tech on Saturday.  The agenda included a tour of the facilities, learning more about academics, meeting with position coaches and current players, and lunch.  What stood out most to Reavis, though, was a meeting that included four Tech coaches - head coach Frank Beamer, assistant coach Shane Beamer, defensive coordinator Bud Foster, and defensive backs coach Torrian Gray.
