Virginia Tech has a good group of inside linebackers. Unfortunately, they aren't the healthiest group on the team right now. Aside from inexperience behind the starting cornerbacks, the current depth at inside linebacker is probably the biggest defensive concern at this point.
Note that we're going to include the whips with the defensive backs. I feel like the whip is closer to a defensive back than a linebacker these days. So we'll just be covering the mikes and backers here.
