Born in Louisiana, Jamieon Moss moved to Virginia Beach (VA) at the age of eight. He lived in Virginia Beach for six years before moving to Elizabeth City, North Carolina, where he has attended Northeastern High School the past three years. The stint in Virginia Beach proved valuable for Virginia Tech, as that was when the standout linebacker prospect first began rooting for the Hokies football squad.
Moss, a 6'3", 220-pound rising senior, committed to East Carolina this past March, but an April offer from his childhood favorite Hokies proved too difficult to resist.
