Every year Virginia Tech seems to go down to the wire with an out-of-state program for an in-state recruit or two. Sometimes those guys head out-of-state and do very well for themselves. Others take bad advice, or neglect to take good advice, and head to schools that don't suit them.
Since 2007, Tech has been involved to the end with a number of in-state kids who selected an out-of-state school over the Hokies. None of them have had much success.
