Rumors are afloat that Jim Weaver has settled on a list of guys he considers finalists for the position of men's basketball coach. If that's true, then we could see a hire made by the end of the weekend, or perhaps on Monday, though that timetable is just speculation on my part.
From talking to a couple of sources, and through educated guessing of my own, I think there are six major candidates involved at this point. Let's take a quick look at all six. I'm not listing them in any particular order.
