Virginia Tech has scored its third commitment in the class of the 2013. Anthony Shegog , a 6'2", 200-pound safety prospect out of North Stafford High School (Stafford, VA), chose the Hokies this afternoon over offers from East Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
Shegog attended Virginia Tech's February 18 junior day, which is when he received the offer from head coach Frank Beamer. He said he was "speechless" when told the good news. Less than a month later, he has accepted Tech's offer.
