Tech Getting Better, or Playing to the Level of the Competition?

Virginia Tech's last five games have been decided on the final shot.  Tech is 2-3 in those games.  They've defeated Boston College (66-65) and Georgia Tech (74-73), and they've lost to three ranked teams in Florida State (48-47), UVA (61-59) and Duke (70-65 in OT).
