Virginia Tech offered Joel Caleb a little over halfway through his sophomore year, so certainly the Hokies have been in hot pursuit of Clover Hill's star for some time. Persistence paid off today, when the 6'3", 205-pound athlete signed a letter of intent with Frank Beamer's program.
"After a long process, weighing the pros and cons of each school, today I'm announcing my decision to attend Virginia Tech," Caleb said, donning a maroon Virginia Tech hat in front of a group of family, friends, coaches, faculty and fellow athletes assembled at the Midlothian (VA) high school.
