Virginia Tech is off to a bad start in the ACC portion of their basketball schedule. Two weeks ago, we were saying the Hokies had a solid chance to start 3-0, or 2-1 at worst. Instead, they are 0-3. Looking at their schedule, it doesn't appear that things are going to get better anytime soon.
The Hokies are 11-6 overall, and 0-3 in the ACC. Their next five games look like this: vs. UNC, at UVA, vs. BYU, at Maryland, vs. Duke. With the way the Hokies have played the last couple of weeks, even the most optimistic Tech fan can't see more than 1-2 wins in that stretch, and 0-5 is a legit possibility.
