Grafton (Yorktown, VA) enjoyed a successful 2011 season, finishing with a 10-4 record that included a Region 1 Division 4 championship. Junior wide receiver/cornerback Marcus Spearman , a 3-year starter and 2-year captain, played a big role this season and will be part of a promising group head coach Jared Van Acker has returning next season.
"Marcus is a unique individual," said Van Acker, Grafton's head coach of two years. "He's an athletic, academic kid, and he's just an amazing football player."
