A 37-34 playoff loss to Christian Brothers marked the end of Woody Baron's outstanding varsity football career at Brentwood Academy (Nashville, TN). Baron played all four years for head coach Ralph Potter, starting at offensive guard since his freshman year and at defensive end since his sophomore year. The 6'1", 250-pound senior will play in the Toyota East vs West Tennessee All Star Classic on December 10, in what will be his final game on the high school level.

"It has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride, but I've enjoyed it," Baron said of his football career at Brentwood, which finished with a 9-3 record this season. "Our team has been anywhere from 10th in the nation to down where we are now, but I've enjoyed the ride."
