Virginia Tech is solidly in the running for 6'1", 195-pound running back Todd Gurley , one of the top rising senior prospects in the state of North Carolina. Gurley made an unofficial visit to Tech within the past month and now reportedly is strongly considering an official visit to Blacksburg. Tarboro (N.C.) head coach Jeff Craddock confirmed that an official visit to Tech is a possibility.
"[Virginia Tech] could be sneaking in there. He went there and told me they had beautiful facilities and everything," Craddock said. "He did like it. I heard him talking about maybe taking an official visit there."
