left Virginia Tech without making a verbal commitment. Almost.
"We were on the steps coming out," Jones recalled. "I thought,
man, I've got to turn around. The first person I saw was Coach Foster and I told
him I wanted to commit. He was excited. He was happy. Right after I told him,
Coach [Frank] Beamer went around the corner."
