Benedictine (Richmond, VA) rising senior defensive lineman Nigel Williams has certainly gotten the attention of FBS coaches, having scored offers from Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, Duke, East Carolina, Navy, North Carolina, N.C. State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech and more. Cadets head coach Greg Lilly says Nigel is "happy" with the offers he has received to this point, but other major programs continue to evaluate.
"Tennessee, Michigan State, and Notre Dame - schools you've seen come up with other guys in the state - were through [during the Evaluation Period] and liked him. They have not offered," Lilly said.
