St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN) rising senior Isaac Hayes would like to have made his college choice by summer's end. With the beginning of summer rapidly approaching, five schools currently have the 6-3, 270-pound offensive lineman's attention.
"At this point, including offers and everything, my top five in no particular order is Stanford, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, Oregon State and Georgia Tech. I don't have offers from [Georgia Tech and Stanford]. One of the main things I'm looking for is a good academic school. I want to go to college and play football. The NFL is every kid's dream, but not every player makes it and I want to have something to fall back on once football is over."
