Virginia Tech has gotten off to a great start in recruiting on the defensive
side of the ball, with commitments from some very good defensive back prospects.
If they can close on a couple of linebackers and do well on the defensive line,
this is setting up to be a complete defensive class.

I think we can expect the Hokies to take 2-3 players at each position. Right now
I'm counting Der'woun Greene and
Desmond Frye as safety recruits. However,
either of them could end up at wide receivers if Tech misses out on their top
targets at that position. They are both versatile recruits who could end up on
either side of the ball.
