Tomorrow's Spring Game will be a fun day for fans, players and coaches, but
it will also be an extremely important day for the program. Not because Logan
Thomas will play in his first Spring Game as the starting quarterback, and not
because it's a chance to continue to develop defensive line depth. The Hokies
will be hosting lot of top recruits this weekend, and the new staff will have a
chance to make a great impression.
For the first time that I can remember, the media will not be allowed to
speak with assistant coaches following the Spring Game, because those coaches
will be busy dealing with visiting recruits. The staff knows this is a very
important weekend, if you are undecided about whether you're going to attend,
please do so. The more people that are in the stands, the more impressed these
recruits will be.
