Given Dorian Finney-Smith 's impressive accomplishments over the course of the past two seasons, it's hard to believe that he didn't play at all on I.C. Norcom High School's varsity squad as a freshman. A frustrating freshman year, though, turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

"It motivated me," Finney-Smith said. "But, I was real mad after some of those games. My family told me to keep working."
