Virginia Tech brings back most of their team for the 2011 season, but they
will have to break in a new starter at the most critical position on the field:
quarterback. All indications are that the new starter will be talented sophomore
Logan Thomas, who will bring something to the quarterback position that we
haven't seen in the past: height and athleticism combined.

Tyrod Taylor is gone. His career was far too short. Taylor developed into one
of the best players in Virginia Tech history, and he has the numbers to prove
it: 57.2% career completion percentage, 7,017 passing yards, 44 passing
touchdowns, 2,196 yards on the ground and 23 rushing touchdowns.
