Virginia Tech signed 11 defensive prospects last week. Despite the strikeout
at linebacker, the Hokies did very well on the defensive line and in the
secondary. Bud Foster has some new toys to play with, and a few of these guys
have the potential to play early.
In yesterday's offensive article, you probably noticed that Tech didn't go
head-to-head with the major programs for their offensive recruits. The majority
of those guys selected the Hokies over UVA, Marshall, Air Force, etc. That's not
the case with the defensive class. Tech got a number of defensive linemen and
defensive backs who spurned some top programs to play for Bud Foster.
