One the eve of Signing Day, Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL) defensive tackle Luther Maddy got the news he wanted. Virginia Tech extended an official scholarship offer to the 6-2, 275-pound senior, who didn't hesitate to accept.
" Luther Maddy 's a Hokie," Atlantic defensive line coach Kelcey Brooks said. "Virginia Tech offered, and tomorrow he'll be signing a letter of intent. I talked to Coach Wiles and I talked to Luther and we're all excited."
