One day after returning home from an official visit to Virginia Tech, West Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL) wide receiver Robert Lockhart verbally committed to head coach Frank Beamer and company. The Hokies win out over Kansas State and Nebraska, among others, and now boast 20 commitments in the 2011 class.
The 6-2, 175-pound senior had a whirlwind month of January, making official visits to all three finalists over the course of a week. Virginia Tech scored the final visit, which turned out to be enough to sway the talented prospect.
