Sean Tobin does not currently have a scholarship offer from Virginia Tech, but he does have an official visit scheduled and is hopeful an offer will come. Tobin, a 6-3, 220-pound long-snapper and linebacker prospect out of St. John Vianney High School (Holmdel, N.J.), caught the interest of the Hokies about a month ago.

"I sent them my highlight film through the mail," recalled Tobin, who has scheduled an official visit to Tech the weekend of January 28. "Coach Cavanaugh called me a week or so after and said they really liked my film. He said they definitely are very interested. It just comes down to numbers [in terms of getting an offer]."
