Virginia Tech had expressed some interest in South Broward (Hollywood, FL) running back Kevin Grooms prior to the 2010 season, but Grooms' senior season performance sparked the interest further. The 5-10, 175-pound senior now holds an offer from the Hokies and plans to explore the opportunity further.
Projected by some schools as an athlete, Grooms is being recruited by Tech for one position.
