Having earned three FBS-level scholarship offers, Kwontie Moore already had good reason to feel good in this his junior year. Last month, though, the 6-1, 242-pound running back/linebacker felt even better when he helped Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA) capture its first ever state championship.
"[Winning a state title] took a lot of discipline," Moore said. Norfolk Christian, which started its football program in 2005, captured the VISAA Division III title with a 29-14 win over North Cross on November 20. "We kept going and finished it through."
