Grafton (Yorktown, VA) finished its 2010 season with an 8-3 record that included its first playoff appearance in five years. Bay Rivers district Coach of the Year Jared Van Acker will return seven offensive and eight defensive starters next season, highlighted by top junior prospect Dylan Stallings .
"He never stops," Van Acker said of Stallings, a wide receiver/tight end and defensive end. "Other kids can't take a play off against a kid like Dylan. A lot of times, two or three guys will be needed to stop him. He is that explosive of a player on defense. On offense, pretty much every team double-teamed him. He helped us out a lot offensively this year. The big-play threat he is earns attention from the other team."
