Grapevine (TX) power forward Daniel Green has seen his recruitment increase over the course of the past few weeks, with schools such as Marquette and Virginia Tech coming through with scholarship offers. The 6-9, 210-pound senior will be in Blacksburg this weekend for an official visit to Virginia Tech, one of the two schools he is most strongly considering right now.
"I'm really excited to go [to Virginia Tech]," said Green, who'll be accompanied on the trip by his mother and father. This will be the second official visit he has made, as he went to Tulsa in September. "It sounds like a really good place. We have some family on that side of the country. I really like the coaches. And they are a good team.
