If you didn't catch last Saturday's scrimmage in Lane Stadium, tomorrow will
be your last chance to catch the Hokies in action before their season opener
against Boise State on September 6. For those players battling for a spot in the
two deep, it's crunch time. The team will scrimmage at 2 PM Saturday in Lane
Stadium, and it's open to the public. This is the last scrimmage that will be
open to the public.
Virginia Tech will still have one week of preseason practice remaining
following tomorrow's scrimmage, but ideally they'll get their first and second
string more work in those last critical days. It's imperative that Tech's
starters and top backups are operating as efficiently as possible before game
week preparation for the #5 Broncos begins.
