Quarterback Lafonte Thorougood headlines the list of Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) rising senior prospects that could be close to a college decision, Dolphins head coach Chris Scott says. Thourogood, a 6-2, 215-pound standout and one of the top overall prospects in the state of Virginia's 2011 class, has narrowed his list to three schools.
"He has definitely got it down to three," Scott said. "Not in any particular order, they are West Virginia, Virginia Tech and UVa. Those are basically his top three right now and he is talking with his dad and talking with the coaches and comfortable with those three. He is getting closer to a decision."
