Harrisonburg's (VA) Landon Turner followed through and visited Virginia Tech last Saturday. According to the talented big man's stepfather, Christopher Womack, the visit went well. The 6-6, 300-pound rising senior, who last was in Blacksburg for the Spring Game, learned more about Virginia Tech on the academic front than he had in previous visits.
"We had a really nice visit," Womack wrote via email. "We had a great visit with one of the Associate Deans from the Business School and Landon got to find out a lot about the business school. That's actually a really big priority with him. We also got to see a lot of the campus that we hadn't seen before. A lot of times the visits get a bit repetitive but this was a really nice trip for everyone! Landon remains very high on Tech."
