Virginia Tech extended an offer last Saturday to Eagles Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) rising senior tight end prospect Christian Reeves. No doubt the focus for Tech at ELCA right now is recruiting the 6-4, 215-pound Reeves, who is working on setting up a return visit to Blacksburg, but don't be surprised if the staff pursues another Chargers standout further down the road.
" Keyante Green is an exceptional player because of his vision and because of his balance," ELCA head coach Jonathan Gess said. "From a running back standpoint, everybody is looking at the 40. I don't know what his 40 time is, but we did have a senior who ran a 4.4 and there is no comparison between the two in terms of quickness and the power Keyante runs with. Keyante is able to make cuts that are unbelievable. He averaged 10.46 yards per carry as a ninth grader last season. He rushed for almost 1500 yards. What's more amazing is that we didn't start using him until game three, but he started out right away with great games."
