6-5, 295-pound Nick Acree will arrive at Virginia Tech on July 5. Acree, who graduated from Fork Union Military Academy last weekend, plans to continue to train in the weight room and rehabilitate the knee he injured last summer before arriving at Tech. The rehab continues to go well, though the massive lineman admits he is not yet fully healthy.
"I'm almost at 100-percent," Acree said. "I'm not going to lie. There is a lot more to the injury than I thought, but I'm almost there. I will be close when I get to Virginia Tech. I'm definitely strengthening the leg. I'm basically going to keep training and get my flexibility back and the kinks worked out."
