I.C. Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) just captured the Group AAA state championship in varsity boys basketball. One of the members of the championship squad is Kameron Mack , a 6-5, 200-pound junior. While Mack is a solid basketball player and good athlete, his "bread will be buttered" on the gridiron according to Norcom head football coach Larry Archie.
"Virginia Tech has been down to evaluate him," Archie said. "Curt Newsome recruits the area. Bryan Stinespring has been down. Coach Beamer has been down. Coach London from UVa has been down. Chip West, who recruits this area now for Virginia, has been down. Kameron is getting a lot of interest. He is getting mail from Oregon and Boston College. N.C. State called about him."
