It happens too much to be coincidence or luck. The Hokies consistently win
close games in the final minutes. We saw it again on Tuesday night, except this
time it was against the best team Tech has played all year, and it was on
national television. It doesn't get much better than that. These Hokies are
tough, and they are poised to go to the NCAA tournament for the first time since
2007.
This might not be the best Virginia Tech basketball team ever, but it is the
toughest. And it's not even close. This team digs deep and finds ways to win at
the end, which is the top trait a collection of athletes can possess.
