Well, so much for NC State owning the Hokies. The Wolfpack ran off six straight wins against Tech at one point since ACC expansion, but the last two games have officially ended that streak. VT has been dominant against State since the 13:33 mark of last year's game, and the past frustrations of this series are squarely in the rear view mirror.
With 13:33 left in the game last year, Courtney Fells hit a jumper that put NC State up 63-45 in Cassell Coliseum. The Wolfpack were blowing Tech out, yet again. However, the Hokies put on a furious rally and came back and won 91-87 in overtime. The Hokies dominated down the stretch, and they continued their domination in Raleigh last night.
