Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) right tackle Chaz Lowery , a junior, is on the radar of several FBS programs. The 6-5, 265-pound prospect has been invited to camp at Duke, Maryland and Virginia Tech so far, so he'll have opportunities to impress college coaches and potentially earn some scholarship offers. Lowery was pleased with his junior season performance and eyes a strong offseason.
"I think I had a great year," said Lowery, who started at right tackle in 2009 after alternating between tackle and guard in 2008. "Working alongside guys like Wes Moulton and Josh Mann, we had a great group of guys. We were able to run the ball. [Ocean Lakes Head] Coach [Chris] Scott would look to me to run on my side. It was a great honor for coach Scott to look to me and trust to run the ball on my side. We could run when the passing game was not there."
