Virginia Tech seniors, plus Jason Worilds, recently completed their college
careers. They went out in style, whipping Tennessee 37-14 in the Chick-fil-A
Bowl, which serves as one of the program's biggest wins of the decade. Some of
those seniors will be going to the NFL, some will be getting on with their
life's work. Today we'll take a look back at their accomplishments from 2006
through 2009.
This class finished their career with a 41-13 overall record, as well as
a 26-8 record in ACC play, which includes two ACC Championship Game victories.
They advanced to the Orange Bowl twice, and their four years in Blacksburg were
bookended by two Chick-fil-A Bowl appearances. That means the Hokies were either
the #1 or #2 bowl team out of the ACC in each of the last four years.
