you want. You want your team peaking, hitting on all cylinders as they reach the
halfway point of the season. The Hokies throttled Boston College Saturday in all
phases of the game, and it's just in time, as Tech heads to Atlanta this weekend
for their latest Most Important Game of the Season.
Virginia Tech delivered their most complete game of 2009 against Boston
College, and it led to an odd sensation: I felt sorry for BC. They've got good
kids who work as hard as any other football team, they've got a respectable,
hard-nosed guy as their head coach, and their best player, Mark Herzlich, is out
for the season because of a battle with cancer that started last May. They're a
good bunch that does things the right way.
