Lafonte Thoroughgood's recruiting card The 2008 season was Lafonte Thourogood 's first as starting quarterback for Ocean Lakes High School's (Virginia Beach, VA) varsity football squad. Just a sophomore, the 6-2 prospect did well at signal caller, helping the Dolphins to an undefeated regular season and an appearance in the Division 6 Eastern Region championship game. Last year's experience propelled Thourogood, who worked hard this offseason and now feels – and plays – like a more confident quarterback.
