Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) head coach Jeff Woody has always been high on Logan Thomas ' abilities at the quarterback position, so he was not surprised to see his former star in the quarterback mix at Virginia Tech this summer. The 6-6, 230-pound Thomas probably wasn't surprised, either.
"Virginia Tech told him in the off-season and when he committed to make sure he kept his arm loose," Woody said. "I think he kind of expected it, but I don't think he knew for sure where they would play him. I noticed him in the off-season catching passes and also throwing passes. He did the same thing in the all-star game. He was doing everything, not only throwing and catching, but running. He did a great job of being ready."
