Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA) rising senior Mario Rowson is on the board in terms of Division 1A scholarship offers. The 6-3, 185-pound cornerback/wide receiver scored an offer from an ACC program yesterday and is hoping for more as the summer continues.
"Maryland just offered me [yesterday], as a matter of fact," said Rowson, a first-team all-Eastern district selection in 2008. "I was very excited because it is my first one. I camped there. [Yesterday] they called my coach and asked him to tell me to give them a call. I did and they told me I had an offer. I called and told my mom right away."
