Virginia Tech scored a top commitment last weekend in defensive end Zack McCray and was hoping to score another top defender this weekend, when 6-2, 195-pound Nick Dew visited Blacksburg. The Hokies didn't get a commitment from the First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA) star, but the weekend still proved to be a success.
"I didn't commit, but the Hokies are still number one," said Dew, who has also been offered by Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia and West Virginia, among others.
