At the Nike Camp in Charlottesville on May 3rd, Southern (Durham, N.C.) cornerback A.J. Marshall showed why he has earned at least 15 Division 1A scholarship offers. Marshall, a 5-11, 175-pound rising senior, felt great about his Nike Camp performance despite not earning defensive back MVP honors.
"Honestly I felt I was the best out there technique-wise," Marshall said. "Several guys thought I should've won MVP, but one guy had one more interception than me and so he was named MVP. I worked hard at everything I did and I feel it was my best camp."
