Virginia Tech is one of four official scholarship offers for Jake Skole , a talented athlete out of Blessed Trinity Catholic in Roswell, Georgia. The 6-1, 188-pound rising senior, a free safety and wide receiver on the gridiron, sparked Tech's interest early on in the recruiting process.
"Virginia Tech's coaches watched film and he has a good highlight film," Blessed Trinity head coach Ricky Turner said. "The film shows how athletic he is out there and Virginia Tech really liked it. They offered him early and he was very excited to get the Virginia Tech offer."
