Virginia Tech has a huge football game on September 5 against Alabama in the
Georgia Dome. This will be the most hyped college football game during the
offseason, and ESPN will cover it heavily in the days leading up to the event.
Both teams will likely be in the preseason Top 10, and the Crimson Tide could
even begin the year in the Top 5. It's never too early to start previewing such
a big game, and today we'll take a look at Alabama's quarterback situation.
Alabama's quarterback situation is similar to Virginia Tech's, and in some
ways worse. The Tide lost starter John Parker Wilson, and no other quarterback
on the roster has any starting experience. In fact, projected starter Greg
McElroy didn't even get a lot of playing experience in high school.
