By now, high school football fans in the state of Virginia should already know quite a bit about 6-4, 180-pound rising senior wide receiver Justin Hunter . One of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2010 class, the Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) star has accumulated official scholarship offers from programs throughout the nation. The player passing the ball to Hunter is gaining recognition as well and could also be high on Division 1A wish lists should he continue to progress.
The latter player in question is Lafonte Thoroughgood, a 6-2, 206-pound rising junior. Thoroughgood started at quarterback all season in 2008, leading the Dolphins to an undefeated regular season and an appearance in the Group AAA, Division 6 Eastern Region final against Oscar Smith.
