"I think it is his speed," answered West Brunswick head coach Jimmy Fletcher. "He is a big kid, but he can run. He is really raw, though. This was his first year of varsity football. He played JV football as a freshman, but he was injured as a sophomore. He was doing a power clean later on in his freshman year and broke his wrist. The doctor did not release him for a year. He couldn't play football and he couldn't lift weights. When he came back this year, we knew he was a big kid and we knew he could run but we didn't know much else. He ended up having a great year even though he really is a year behind."
