As a fullback, Linganore (Frederick, MD) running back Zack Zwinak had 133 carries for 1,447 yards last season as a junior, establishing his presence not only as a top high school football performer but also as one of the top rising seniors in the state of Maryland. The 6-1, 225-pound prospect picked up an offer from Maryland following his junior season and 10 more Division 1A programs have since followed suit.
"I was hoping to get college attention, possibly D1, but it never really hit me," said Zwinak, who has been a starter on the varsity level since his sophomore season. "Once I was done with my junior season, colleges started contacting me and it went from there."
