Bassett (VA) lineman Andrew Miller fully expected to sign a letter of intent with Virginia Tech's wrestling program this spring, with the plan being to be on wrestling scholarship for one year before moving over to a football scholarship. That all changed about a week before National Football Signing Day and, last Wednesday, the 6-4, 275-pound prospect's name appeared with 20 other prospects on Tech's football signing day list.
"Coach Beamer and Coach Stinespring came up about a week before Signing Day and told me what they wanted me to do," recalled Miller. "It sounded good to me."
