6-1, 185-pound cornerback Jerrodd Williams looked forward to last weekend's official visit to Virginia Tech for a preview of what is to come over the next four or five years. The Daniel (Central, S.C.) star senior, a commitment to the Hokies since last June, did not leave disappointed.
"The whole weekend was great," said Williams, an athletic prospect with sub-4.4 speed in the 40. "I loved getting with the guys and just hanging. They told me what to do there and what I need to do to get on the field quick. It was a great experience. It made me feel that I did choose the right college."
